~ Outreach Ministry ~
We minister local outreach programs include ministry to prisons, nursing homes, transition housing residents, and AIDS/HIV patients.  Additionally, we provide sustenance whereever God leads us in the cause of helping global victims of natural disasters.

PRISON OUTREACH

Prison Ministry is committed to ministering to institutionalized men and women. We take the “Good News” to those who need emotional healing and a hope and a future inside the walls of prison. We also contribute toe the support of Broughton House which houses released inmates with special needs.

NURSING HOME VISITS

We seek to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ in the nursing home environment to seniors, providing support and encouragement by regular visits by caring Christians. We are a Christian Ministry that provides encouragement and support for elderly and the residents of local nursing and convalescent homes.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

We are dedicated to serving the needs of homeless people or those in transition from drug and alcohol recovery and prison to a new way of life in Christ. Our goal is for those in need to receive an array of supportive services in a caring environment designed to encourage them to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

AIDS/HIV PATIENTS

The Hospital Visitation Ministry was formed in to provide support, comfort, and reassurance to AIDS/HIV patients and their families while in the hospital through prayer and encouraging visits. We offer comfort and the Word to patients dealing with pain, being dependent on unfamiliar people, and the loss of privacy that add to the discomfort, stress, and fear a patient may feel during hospitalization.

GLOBAL EMERGENCIES

We continue to provide relief funds to global victims of natural disasters such as victims of Hurricane Katrina and those who suffered the loss of homes and shortages of food from violent earthquakes in Haiti. Many of these funds are coordinated through Lott Carey.
