Are you looking to connect with other seniors at Fountain Baptist Church? Then come and be a part of all we have going on with our Seniors’ Ministry! Join us for various fun activities and serving opportunities, and help us reach out in love to others in our community. Our goal is to help foster growth and spiritual maturity as we journey through our walk with Christ together.

Senior Adults are an invaluable resource to the church, as they have a wealth of knowledge, and experience. They bring sunshine, energy and fun to every event they touch.

Senior Adults are faithfully serving in every major ministry at Fountain Baptist Church. They serve as Bible teachers in every age group, from the preschool to the Senior Adult Departments. They are actively involved in teaching children during Vacation Bible School, and provide quality childcare to babies in our nursery. They count and certify donations collected during Sunday offerings, and they serve on all of the key committees in the church. In many cases Senior Adults serve as chairpersons on these committees. Senior Adults also serve as deacons, ushers, and are actively involved in our music ministry as they sing with our choirs, and participate in major musical productions performed during the Christmas and Easter holiday periods. The Joyful Sounds is a Senior Adult choir that ministers in music at local nursing homes, hospitals, and the homes of homebound individuals. Additionally, Senior Adults provide essential encouragement by visiting and consoling individuals who are homebound, or struggling with grief related to the passing away of a loved one.
