Our single adult ministry here at FBC seeks to share the message of Christ, grow in our relationships with him, and create a safe atmosphere of unity, acceptance, and belonging for single adults in our community. Our purpose is to help you grow spiritually, connect with other single adults, and learn the plans God has for your life. Our Singles Ministry is a ministry created to provide fellowship and encouragement for those who are single, widowed, divorced and single parents. The ministry’s purpose is to develop good relationships by way of recreational and spiritually centered activities with the goal of furthering the reach of God's hand in the local body and the world around us.

We want to have a single vision focused solely on the grace of God, recognizing that everyone is special in the eyes of God, and there is a purpose for our lives. Also, we want singles to understand they are complete and significant in Christ, the most famous single of us all.

Churches today and in the past have sometimes overlooked the vitality of singles and their purpose in the church. Churches have mistakenly neglected the influence singles can have not only in the church, but also in their community and beyond. That’s not the case at FBC. We know singles are crucial and essential to the mission of our church and the way we serve each other and the community. There’s enormous power in singles’ working and serving together. Churches of all sizes have single adults. The number of single adults increases as church size increases, and so does the mixture of those never married, divorced, and widowed. Smaller churches are less likely to have never-married singles or widows/widowers. Single adults who are divorced are present in churches of all sizes.



Blessed with focusable time and resources, singles are fresh thinkers at the height of their lives in terms of freedom, talent, and broadness of scope. Directing those gifts for Christ's kingdom while providing a place to seek God's will through fellowship and community is the call of our ministry. Within our Singles Ministry, we have a number of options to meet a variety of needs. Our singles are actively involved throughout the church, and we have the perfect place for all singles.

Regardless of the circumstance or choice that led you to be single at this time, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. There’s not one area that can’t benefit from you and your acts of service. Our ministry is committed to helping single adults establish and grow in their personal relationship with Christ.
