"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11-13) FBC Women’s Ministry endeavors to provide an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills, and minister in our local church, their community and the world. Our Ministry now reaches around the world with a multiplicity of emphasis and focus including prayer, Bible study, local and world missions, covenant team ministry (providing assistance to mission states and regions), benevolence, prayer, hospital visitation, prison outreach, ministry to both young girls and senior adults, fund-raising, and social issues that affect women.



Our women’s ministry here at FBC provides Christ-centered spiritual growth and encouragement for women in our shared journey of faith at every season in our lives, in order to deepen our relationship with God and others. Our hope is for every woman to be a part of our ministry and find a place of love and acceptance that will result in deeper friendships. We seek to build relationships, encourage, and support one another– to talk, laugh, cry, process, and journey through life together. "Give her of the fruit of her hands; And let her own works praise her in the gates." (Proverbs 31:31)



“And may the lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12. Our dedicated women are making a significant Christian difference in the world by their commitment to devote their time, talents and finances to promote the goals of Women’s Ministry globally and locally.

Women are encouraged be women of God who will offer themselves as living sacrifices, acceptable and pleasing to God; be devoted to one another in love, honoring one another above themselves; serve God and Fountain Baptist Church with zeal, keeping their spiritual fervor; joyfully hope; be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer; share with God’s people who are in need; and practice hospitality. The verses found in Romans 12:1, 10-13 are the foundations for these aspirations. Women mature in Christian faith are encouraged to be committed to mentoring our younger women, as outlined in Titus 2:4..
